Claude Jaouen
Nuclear fuel and reactors
Claude headed the Reactor & Services business group at Areva and has 40y of experience of the full nuclear value chain : reactors, fuel cycle, engineering, major projects and industrial operations.
He held senior executive roles at AREVA, AREVA NP, FRAMATOME-ANP, COGEMA, and SGN, including Chairman & CEO and Senior Executive Vice President, leading businesses with up to 13,000 employees and €3.8B in P&L responsibility.
His board experience includes serving as a Non-Executive Director of Sellafield Ltd since April 2024, alongside roles on the Advisory Board of Segula Technologies and the boards of FRAMATOME-ANP entities in France, Germany, and the US.
Since 2014, Jaouen has advised boards and executives on strategy, project recovery, international development, and M&A, supporting over 40 clients across France, the UK, US, Canada, Japan, and Germany.
Claude is a PhD and holds a engineering diploma from École Centrale de Paris.
